Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mental Health Practitioner to join our Specialist CAMHS Team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in child and adolescent mental health, with a focus on delivering high-quality care to children, young people, and their families.

Main Duties
  • Lead on the clinical delivery of care to children, young people, and their families accessing CAMHS interventions.
  • Undertake pre-planned and on-the-day assessments, follow-up assessments, and collaboration with GPs within the Kirklees locality.
  • Work autonomously and collaboratively within the MDT, providing consultation and teaching for other agencies and professionals.
  • Provide supervision and teaching to all other disciplines within CAMHS and deputise as agreed for the team leader.
