Marketing Executive Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Marketing Executive to join our Maidstone office, covering the Kent/Gatwick region. As a key member of our marketing team, you will be responsible for delivering marketing initiatives and campaigns across the Southern region, providing general marketing and administrative support to the Regional Head of Marketing.

This role is ideal for someone with 1-2 years of marketing experience, looking to build on their skills across the full marketing mix, including online and offline events, social media, PR, copywriting, and advertising, as well as prospect and competitor research.

The successful candidate will have a 'can-do' attitude, be highly organized, motivated, resourceful, and career-oriented. They will be able to work quickly and efficiently on multiple tasks, manage competing priorities, and maintain accurate records.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and develop effective marketing campaigns to support regional brand awareness and business development objectives.
  • Research and maintain a calendar of external events and networking opportunities, promoting them internally to encourage attendance and regional engagement.
  • Maintain the regional marketing pages of the intranet to ensure they are up to date and support internal communication objectives.
  • Provide support to deliver national and sector campaigns regionally.
  • Support social media activity and undertake competitor research and reporting.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of marketing experience.
  • Excellent IT skills, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Experience and aptitude for design.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work quickly and efficiently on multiple tasks.
  • Confident in dealing with people and willing to travel.
