Position Summary:


We are looking for a dedicated and empathetic Psychologist to support a private client through an initial temporary contract, with the potential for ongoing engagement.

In this role, you will be instrumental in conducting clinical evaluations, delivering patient care, and providing specialized educational support to children.

This position is associated with a low secure Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) framework, including the option for Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) involvement when necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform psychological assessments and diagnostic evaluations
  • Create and execute tailored treatment strategies for patients
  • Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic patient care
  • Offer counseling and emotional support to patients and their families

Essential Skills:

  • Strong capabilities in clinical research methodologies
  • Proficient in various patient care practices
  • Experience with pediatric populations and individuals on the autism spectrum
  • Familiarity with special education frameworks
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Competence in functioning effectively within a multidisciplinary team
