About the Role:
Camden Health Partners Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Clinical or Counselling Psychologist to join our team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality psychological care to individuals with diabetes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide specialist psychological assessments and interventions to individuals with diabetes, including those with complex needs.
- Work closely with medical and allied health professionals to develop and implement care plans that meet the needs of individuals with diabetes.
- Contribute to the development and evaluation of operational policies and services within the Camden Integrated Diabetes Service.
- Provide training and supervision to other professionals on the psychological aspects of their work.
- Participate in research and service evaluation to inform evidence-based practice.
Requirements:
- Postgraduate level training in clinical or counselling psychology at Doctoral level or equivalent on a BPS accredited training course.
- HCPC registered Clinical or Counselling Psychologist.
- Experience of specialist psychological assessment and treatment of clients across the full range of care settings, including outpatient, community, primary care, and inpatient settings.
- Experience of working with a wide variety of client groups, across the whole life course, presenting problems that reflect the full range of clinical severity.

- Psychologists working in other services in Camden Royal Free Hospital, UCLH, CNWL, CANDI.
- Clinical Lead of Camden Diabetes IPU.
- Consultant Physicians for Diabetes.
- Specialist Diabetes Nurses, Podiatrists, and Dietitians.
- General Practitioners.
- Social and mental Care staff.
- People with diabetes.
Person Specification:
- Postgraduate level training in clinical or counselling psychology at Doctoral level or equivalent on a BPS accredited training course.
