About the Role:
Camden Health Partners Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our team in the Camden Diabetes Integrated Practice Unit (IPU). As a Clinical Psychologist in Diabetes, you will play a key role in providing high-quality psychological care to individuals with diabetes, working closely with our multidisciplinary team to design care plans that meet the needs of our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide specialist psychological assessments and interventions to individuals with diabetes, including those with complex needs.
- Work closely with our multidisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans that address the psychological and physical needs of our patients.
- Provide consultation and training to other healthcare professionals on psychological aspects of diabetes care.
- Contribute to the development and evaluation of our service, including research and service evaluation.
Requirements:
- Postgraduate level training in clinical or counselling psychology at Doctoral level or equivalent on a BPS accredited training course.
- HCPC registered Clinical or Counselling Psychologist.
- Experience of specialist psychological assessment and treatment of clients across the full range of care settings, including outpatient, community, primary care and inpatient settings.
- Experience of working with a wide variety of client groups, across the whole life course presenting problems that reflect the full range of clinical severity.
