Quantity Surveyor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Sewell Group. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in the commercial management of our projects, ensuring that we deliver high-quality construction services to our clients while maintaining a strong focus on cost control and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:- Pre-Contract Project Development: Assist in the development of robust elemental costings, quantify project risks, and create cash flow forecasts.
- Commercial Management: Implement and monitor systems and procedures, ensure effective communication, and maximize efficiency in reporting techniques.
- Contract Administration: Review cost models, monitor and report monthly, place subcontract orders, and ensure project compliance with contractual documents.
- Health and Safety: Ensure compliance with I&G Health and Safety standards and procedures.
- Essential: Hold a full driving license, valid in the UK, and a professional qualification in Quantity Surveying. Previous experience in a competitive and successful surveying/commercial team or department is required.
- Desirable: Previous knowledge working with public sector clients, estimating experience, and training on BIM (Building Information Modelling) are desirable skills.
