Quantity Surveyor

We are seeking a highly skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Sewell Group. As a key member of our commercial team, you will be responsible for managing the financial aspects of construction projects, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities- Pre-Contract Project Development: Assist in the development of robust elemental costing, quantify project risks, and create cash flow forecasts.
- Commercial Management: Implement and monitor business infrastructure and systems, ensure effective communication, and maximize efficiency of reporting techniques.
- Contract Performance: Review cost models, monitor and report monthly, and ensure project compliance with contractual documents.
- Client Relationship Development: Understand client objectives, maintain a professional relationship, and explore opportunities for business development.
- Essential: Hold a full driving license, valid in the UK, and a professional qualification in Quantity Surveying. Previous experience in a competitive and successful surveying/commercial team or department is required.
- Desirable: Previous knowledge working with public sector clients, estimating experience, and training on BIM (Building Information Modelling).
