Job Description:
Norton Rose Fulbright LLP is seeking a highly skilled Finance Operations Billing Supervisor to join our team in Newcastle. As a key member of our Finance Department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the effective delivery of bill preparation, production, and support to our Revenue teams across EMEA.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and develop the Finance Operations Billing Team, providing ongoing training, support, and knowledge sharing.
- Conduct annual performance reviews and identify areas for improvement.
- Support onboarding and embedding tasks, as well as recruiting new team members to support the rollout.
- Seek out opportunities for continuous process improvement and collaborate with the London Revenue Team Managers to ensure appropriate escalation of issues.
- Manage team performance and behaviors effectively, identifying areas for improvement and supporting the Team Manager as needed.
- Ensure work is delivered to the highest standard, measuring quality and minimizing the reissue of drafts/bills.
- Support the revenue team in driving down lockup for the business.
Requirements:
- A team player with strong written and oral communication skills.
- Previous supervisory experience in a finance/business services environment.
- Self-motivated and dedicated, with a flexible approach to working hours and a willingness to work outside core hours during busy periods.
- Strong Microsoft Office application experience, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Ability to manage change and support teams through any future changes.
- Good knowledge of HR policies and procedures that support people, performance, and behaviors.
