Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation of high-quality dishes.
  • Manage specific sections of the kitchen during service.
  • Ensure consistent quality control across all food offerings.
  • Work efficiently in a busy kitchen environment while adhering to established recipes.
  • Complete daily cleaning and maintenance logs in compliance with industry standards.
  • Follow hygiene protocols and HACCP guidelines diligently.
  • Understand stock rotation and ensure proper usage of ingredients.
  • Familiarize yourself with all aspects of the Ballintaggart brand, including production, events, and culinary education.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Level 1 Food Safety & Hygiene Certification.
  • Knowledge of manual handling techniques.
  • Understanding of COSHH regulations and chemical safety.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
  • Desire to develop personal skills and support team growth.
