The ideal candidate will have experience in using Dynamics 365 and general housing administration tasks, such as managing customer mailboxes and reviewing accounts. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Property Inspections and Disrepair Claims

Conduct on-site inspections of properties to identify causes of disrepairs and make necessary solutions within a tight time frame. Collaborate with surveyors to ensure accurate assessments and timely resolutions.

  • Customer Mailbox Management

Efficiently manage customer mailboxes, responding to emails and sharing them with colleagues as needed. Ensure timely and effective communication with customers.

  • Rent Call Queue Management

Manage the rent call queue, taking payments and handling direct debits, including annual and Christmas reviews. Ensure accurate and timely processing of customer transactions.

  • Customer Engagement and Support

Build relationships with customers, owning queries from start to finish. Provide support and guidance on welfare reform and housing benefit legislation, ensuring customers are aware of their rights and responsibilities.

  • Financial Management and Reporting

Accurately calculate and record customer transactions, arrears repayment agreements, and rent figures. Investigate Housing Benefit and Universal Credit overpayment invoices, arranging repayment or preparing appeals as necessary.

  • Tenancy Support and Administration

Support new tenancy sign-ups, raising purchase orders, and ensuring contractors are paid on time. Advise on effective payment solutions to sustain tenancies, prevent arrears, and maximize rental income.

  • Accounting and Reporting

Prepare and pass accounts for write-off in line with policies and procedures. Review customer accounts with credit balances, requesting rent refunds as required.
