About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Finance Analyst to join our finance team at L'Oréal. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in driving our brand's financial success by providing insightful financial analysis and support to guide critical commercial decisions and maximize profitability.
Key Responsibilities
- Support Commercial Team: Assist the Commercial Team in maximizing profitable sales opportunities and monitoring the commercial P&L evolution to promote optimal decision-making.
- Financial Support: Provide financial support and guidance to Commercial Teams, ensuring accurate investment allocation and return on investment.
- Risk and Opportunity Identification: Identify and inform the Head of Commercial Finance of commercial risks & opportunities, ensuring timely action is taken to mitigate or capitalize on them.
- Reporting and Analysis: Prepare monthly financial and management reporting to Divisional & Corporate Management as well as to Head Office in Paris, providing key insights and trends to inform business decisions.
- Compliance and Controls: Ensure sales teams comply with promotional accrual processes and provisions raised in SAP, maintaining strong internal controls and adhering to L'Oréal's group standards.
- Ad Hoc Projects: Conduct ad hoc projects to improve controls/reporting, ensuring continuous improvement and optimization of financial processes.
- Balance Sheet Management: Manage the commercial balance sheet, ensuring accurate and timely reporting and analysis.
- Financial Trends and Budgets: Create financial trends and budgets in line with brand and channel strategy, providing a clear roadmap for financial success.
- Year-End Audit Support: Ensure controls are maintained in line with L'Oréal's group standards and support year-end external audit, ensuring a smooth and successful audit process.
- Ad Hoc Analysis: Provide ad hoc analysis on specific topics of focus for brand and division management, providing valuable insights and recommendations.
- Qualifications: Qualification as a CIMA, ACA or ACCA accountant, with strong numerical and analytical skills and good commercial acumen.
- Financial Knowledge: Financial knowledge and experience in managing a P&L, expansion analysis, and sales forecasts, with a strong understanding of financial markets and trends.
