About the Role

Citi Benchmark Administration is seeking a talented Mortgage Index Analyst to join our team in London. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for implementing new index models, structuring and managing Python-based analytics and index libraries, and gaining expert understanding in index structures across multiple asset classes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement new index models and work with structuring and other quant analysts to develop and refine index methodologies.
  • Improve and manage Python-based analytics and index libraries to ensure efficient and accurate index calculations.
  • Gain expert understanding in index structures across multiple asset classes, including mortgage-backed securities.
  • Improve Benchmark Index and risk control processes to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Understand and demonstrate risk control aspects of data management, index calculation, and reconciliation processes.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and technology partners to develop a multi-asset calculation platform.
  • Understand and support governance, audit, and regulatory aspects of the business.
  • Build a culture of responsible finance, good governance, timely escalation, and supervision.
Requirements
  • Programming experience in Python is essential.
  • Knowledge of financial markets is preferred.
  • Thorough, organized, and detailed approach to work.
  • Excellent spoken and written English.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
