The Information and Technology Department plays a vital role in supporting this mission by providing, maintaining, and enhancing all user-facing IT services, enabling their team to perform at their best.
Role Overview
Landmarc is seeking an IT Coordinator who will be instrumental in ensuring the effective execution of various projects while supporting IT Project Managers. Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting in the management of project timelines and schedules.
- Coordinating activities across different teams, particularly within product teams.
- Gathering and analyzing project status data, identifying potential issues and risks.
- Developing and updating project dashboards and key performance indicators (KPIs) to provide insights for project enhancements.
Effective communication is essential in this position. The IT Coordinator will facilitate interactions among project teams, stakeholders, and senior management by:
- Preparing and distributing meeting agendas, minutes, and action items.
- Creating and disseminating communications such as newsletters and updates to keep users informed about IT developments.
Collaboration with the Technology Enablement and broader IT Team will be crucial, as regular updates will be provided to illustrate how the Information and Technology Department supports the overall Landmarc business.
Key Responsibilities
The role also involves:
- Identifying opportunities for process enhancements within the PMO and across IT projects.
- Assisting in the establishment and implementation of PMO standards and best practices.
- Managing capacity planning and resource allocation to ensure accurate forecasts are maintained.
- Overseeing supplier management by tracking contracts and performance metrics.
- Supporting the IT Leadership team in budget preparation and reporting, liaising with the Finance Department as necessary.
- Providing assistance with IT procurement and invoice processing.
- Supporting the Head of Department and IT Leadership Team in reporting to various stakeholders.
- Managing relevant systems and tools, ensuring data accuracy and providing training on project management software.
Qualifications and Skills
To excel in this role, candidates should possess:
- Experience in IT department support or management, particularly in Project Office Management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, with strong time and resource management skills.
- Experience in drafting project plans and schedules for effective project execution.
Desirable qualifications include:
- Experience with IT services or projects, supplier interactions, and invoice validation.
- Project management experience and relevant certifications.
- Familiarity with analysis and reporting tools.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential. The ability to work independently and collaboratively, along with a customer service orientation, will contribute to success in this role. A focus on health and safety, along with an outcome-driven mindset, is also important.
