About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Project Worker to join our team at John Baker House, a homelessness service in Salisbury. As a Project Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting our customers who have faced homelessness to maximize their potential and independence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide support to encourage customers to achieve their goals and live independently
  • Assess customers' needs and develop personalized support plans
  • Be a first point of contact for customer queries and provide guidance and support
  • Develop relationships with customers, ensuring their personal choice, privacy, and dignity are respected
  • Liaise with external support links to improve customers' confidence, health, and wellbeing
  • Handle emergency situations and maintain accurate records

Requirements

  • Experience of working with adults who have experienced homelessness
  • Enthusiastic and flexible attitude with strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative
  • NVQ3 in Health and Social Care or willingness to work towards
