About the Role

Salisbury NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced Programme Support Officer to join their dynamic team, supporting the implementation and sharing of an Electronic Patient Record (EPR) across the Acute Health Alliance constituent Trusts.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in programme support, with demonstrable experience working on large digital or change programmes or projects. They will be able to work autonomously, as part of a busy and dynamic team, delivering effective programme management.

The role involves providing comprehensive programme support to the EPR programme, working at both individual Trust and project levels, ensuring effective PMO management. This includes designing and maintaining a PMO configuration structure, using appropriate tools and techniques, and establishing a comprehensive PMO library.

Key Responsibilities

  • Liaising with multi-disciplinary teams across the Trusts to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Providing programme and project support on a range of PMO tasks, including managing documentation and facilitating group discussions.
  • Designing and maintaining a PMO configuration structure, using appropriate tools and techniques.
  • Establishing and maintaining a comprehensive PMO library, ensuring access and confidentiality are maintained.

Requirements

  • Prince 2 Foundation or comparable project management related qualification, PMQ, or equivalent demonstrable work experience.
  • Training in use of standard MS Office applications, MS Teams (Sharepoint), and MS Project.
  • Experience of working in a programme or project team, with a strong understanding of programme management methodologies.
  • Able to interpret and analyse complex facts or situations, with excellent organisational and prioritisation skills.
