About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Senior Care Assistant to join our team at HC One. As a Senior Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of Care Assistants in maintaining the highest standards of care and promoting a positive and supportive environment for residents.
  • Develop and implement personalized care plans that cater to the unique needs and preferences of each resident.
  • Assist the Registered Nurse and Care Manager in providing essential physical and mental stimulation through a range of social and recreational activities.
  • Administer medication and maintain accurate records of care provided.
  • Build strong relationships with residents, their families, and colleagues to ensure a seamless and supportive care experience.
Requirements
  • Completed a Level 2 Diploma S/NVQ in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
  • Ability to work towards Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
  • Background in person-centered care planning and knowledge of caring for people with dementia.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and lead by example.
