Job Summary

Norse Group is seeking a highly skilled Management Accountant to join our Finance Department based at our Head Office in Norwich. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for preparing, presenting, and analysing initial management accounts for defined divisions within the Group.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and present accurate and timely financial reports to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Analyse and interpret financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain financial models and forecasts to support business decision-making.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure financial data is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and policies.

Requirements

  • Finance and/or accounting qualification (AAT / Degree / ACCA).
  • Proven experience within a commercial finance role, with knowledge of producing management accounts and balance sheet schedules periodically.
  • Excellent documentation skills, comfortable creating and maintaining accurate financial records.
  • Ability to analyse and interpret financial data.
  • Confident communicator, capable of engaging effectively with a range of stakeholders across the business.
  • Knowledge of corporation tax and VAT within a commercial finance environment.
