We are seeking an exceptional Specialty Doctor to join our Community Mental Health Service (CMHS) team in Plymouth. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to adults of working age with severe and enduring mental illness.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and manage patients in a clinic and community setting, working closely with primary care colleagues and other healthcare professionals.
- Develop and implement treatment plans, including psychotherapeutic interventions and medication management.
- Collaborate with the Consultant & Operational Staff to ensure smooth functioning of the service and high standards of care.
- Participate in peer group meetings, teaching junior doctors, and contributing to the SAS Committee.
- Support the development of psychotherapeutic skills and extended opportunities for experience in training in family interventions and CBT.
