Specialty Doctor in Adult Mental Health

We are seeking an exceptional Specialty Doctor to join our Community Mental Health Service (CMHS) in Plymouth. As a key member of our medical team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to adults with severe and enduring mental illness.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and manage patients with complex mental health needs, working closely with primary care colleagues and other healthcare professionals.
- Develop and implement treatment plans, including psychotherapeutic interventions and medication management.
- Collaborate with the Consultant and Operational Staff to ensure smooth service delivery and high standards of care.
- Participate in training and development opportunities, including family interventions and CBT.
- Contribute to the weekly teaching of junior doctors and monthly peer group meetings.

We are looking for a Specialty Doctor with:
Four years full-time postgraduate training or equivalent, with at least two years in specialty training relevant to the post.Knowledge of current mental health legislation.Ability to interview and assess patients and write comprehensive medical notes.Willingness to work in a clinic and community setting.-
