About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at the Kent Autistic Trust. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals with autism and learning disabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide person-centered care and support to individuals with autism and learning disabilities
  • Assist with daily living tasks, such as personal care and hygiene
  • Support individuals with medication administration and household management
  • Engage in activities that promote independence and choice, such as community outings and social events
  • Work collaboratively with other staff members to ensure a high-quality service
Requirements
  • Experience working with individuals with autism and learning disabilities
  • Ability to think on your feet and problem-solve
  • Understanding of the importance of promoting independence and choice
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends
