We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at the Kent Autistic Trust. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals with autism and learning disabilities.
Key Responsibilities- Provide person-centered care and support to individuals with autism and learning disabilities
- Assist with daily living tasks, such as personal care and hygiene
- Support individuals with medication administration and household management
- Engage in activities that promote independence and choice, such as community outings and social events
- Work collaboratively with other staff members to ensure a high-quality service
- Experience working with individuals with autism and learning disabilities
- Ability to think on your feet and problem-solve
- Understanding of the importance of promoting independence and choice
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends
