Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Home Care Support Worker to join our team at Overhead Door Company of Cortland, Inc. As a Home Care Support Worker, you will provide high-quality care and support to our clients in their own homes, enabling them to live independently and safely.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist clients with daily living activities, such as cleaning, laundry, meal preparation, and personal care
  • Transport clients to appointments, shopping, and social outings
  • Provide personal care services, including bathing, dressing, and toileting
  • Build relationships with clients and their families, conducting client observations and providing ongoing support and training
  • Adhere to health and safety guidelines and policies to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff
Requirements
  • Current Australian Driver's License and ownership of a reliable insured vehicle
  • Minimum 6 months experience in a similar industry and/or a Certification in Care
  • Flexibility and availability to work rosters between Monday to Friday
  • All Australian Unity Employees must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 with a minimum of 2 doses

  • Proficiency in an additional language such as Mandarin/Vietnamese/Spanish/Arabic/Lebanese/Greek is valued but not mandatory
