Insurance and Risk Management Professional

We are seeking a skilled Risk and Insurance Manager to lead our external insurance arrangements, Risk Management Strategy, and Risk Management Champions group.
The successful candidate will manage our self-insurance provision and actuarial assessments, negotiate insurance premiums, and oversee claims settlements.
Key responsibilities include developing our Risk Management Strategy, training our team in managing risk, and driving change within the organization.
A strong understanding of insurance and risk management is essential, as is a degree or equivalent experience, relevant insurance qualifications, and excellent communication skills.
The Council offers a good work-life balance, including flexitime and agile working arrangements, including working from home.
