Insurance Advisor - Service Team

We are seeking a highly skilled Insurance Advisor to join our Service Team at Cheep Insurance. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our clients, ensuring their insurance needs are met with ease and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Provide top-notch customer service via phone or email, ensuring client satisfaction and loyalty.
  2. Support retention goals by identifying opportunities to shop policies and save clients during cancellation inquiries.
  3. Contribute to increasing Cheep Insurance's online presence and positive Google reviews through proactive engagement.
  4. Ensure all necessary software is functioning during shifts and report any issues promptly.
  5. Respond promptly to emails and voicemails, notifying the service manager of any delays.
  6. Collaborate with colleagues to increase policies per client through cross-selling and upselling.
  7. Participate in monthly 1:1 coaching sessions and engage in team discussions to drive continuous improvement.
Requirements:


• Post-secondary education and/or equivalent on-the-job experience

• Currently active insurance licenses in the Atlantic provinces or RIBO

• Completed or working towards CAIB

• In-depth understanding of our insurer partners' product offerings and processes

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Proficiency with computer applications, including EPIC (Broker Management System), Applied Rating Services (ARS), and Microsoft Office

• Ability to work in a high customer engagement environment

• Ability to work individually as well as part of a team

• Excellent email and phone etiquette
