About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Family and Systemic Psychotherapist to join our multidisciplinary team in East CAMHS. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality family therapy to children, young people, and families experiencing a wide range of mental health difficulties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver family therapy to children, young people, and families in a variety of settings, including individual, group, and family sessions.
  • Work collaboratively with other professionals, including psychologists, social workers, and nurses, to provide comprehensive care to clients.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, families, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and coordination of care.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of evidence-based family interventions and programs.
  • Participate in regular team meetings, case discussions, and supervision to ensure high-quality care and professional development.
Requirements
  • Relevant degree in a field such as psychology, social work, or a related field.
  • Postgraduate qualification in family therapy or a related field, such as a Master's degree or higher.
  • Registration with the UKCP as a family/systemic psychotherapist.
  • Experience working as a registered family/systemic psychotherapist, preferably in a CAMHS setting.
  • Experience implementing evidence-based family interventions and working with children and young people.
Desirable Qualifications and Experience
  • Additional relevant academic or accredited therapeutic qualifications.
  • Experience working directly with children and young people.
  • Experience of teaching, training, and/or supervision.
