About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior CAMHS Practitioner to lead our East CAMHS Eating Disorder Pathway. This is a full-time, permanent position that requires a strong clinical background and leadership abilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the East CAMHS Eating Disorder Pathway and ensure the provision of a highly specialist service to young people and their families.
  • Manage referrals and assessments, and provide assessments and deliver evidence-based interventions with children, young people, and families where there is an eating disorder or disordered eating present.
  • Work autonomously within professional guidelines and exercise responsibility for the governance of clinical practice within the pathway.
  • Provide consultation, supervision, training, and multi-agency working as part of this leadership role.
Requirements
  • Registered Mental Health or Learning Disability Nurse, Social Worker, Occupational Therapist, Clinical Psychologist with HCP registration, or Systemic Psychotherapist with UKCP registration.
  • Substantial relevant experience in a clinical post within Eating Disorders and/or CAMHS.
  • Post-graduate management qualification desirable.
