Location: Norfolk, within 20 miles from Norwich

Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: Up to £45,000.00

Shifts: Days, nights, weekends

ISQ Recruitment is collaborating with a client in the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) sector to find a Team Lead for their manufacturing facility in Norfolk.

The ideal candidate will oversee an operational team during their shift, ensuring independence, compliance with safety regulations, and the achievement of quality and productivity targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage health and safety matters during the shift, fostering a Zero Accident culture.
  • Ensure adherence to health and safety protocols and proper usage of Personal Protective Equipment.
  • Promote operational excellence and effective problem-solving within the team.
  • Conduct regular analysis to identify and address primary areas for enhancement.
  • Oversee shift performance management, including disciplinary actions and resource allocation.
  • Facilitate essential training and development for all team members.
  • Encourage team participation in continuous improvement initiatives and grassroots enhancements.

Qualifications:

  • Formal training in health and safety management (NEBOSH, IOSH).
  • Experience in the FMCG sector is essential.
  • Technical aptitude in engineering (mechanical, electrical, or technical).
  • Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies, such as Lean-Sigma Yellow Belt.
  • Strong technical and operational knowledge.
  • Understanding of BRC standards is desirable.
  • Proficiency in IT and MS Office applications.
