Job Description

Global is seeking a skilled Programme Manager to join our team. As a Programme Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing, coordinating, and reporting on various projects, products, and strategic initiatives within the Global Player team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Understand the strategic priorities and core roadmap items for Global Player, and input into the allocation of internal and third-party resources accordingly.
  • Work alongside Product Owners and Tech Leads to understand the 'what and how' of the product roadmap.
  • Facilitate the creation of the plan (the 'when') for the squads and manage its execution.
  • Mitigate risks and pre-empt and resolve issues to ensure execution of the plan is on time and to budget.
  • Communicate clear summaries of progress against baseline plans and any changes, including root cause explanations, to other Technology & Digital stakeholders and to senior business stakeholders as needed.
Requirements
  • A proven ability to coordinate high-profile product roadmaps and initiatives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working across mobile apps and web, comfortable getting into detail and having thorough conversations with Product and Engineering counterparts.
  • An eye for detail and a willingness to understand the business context and technical content.
  • Experience in creating project plans and delivering product roadmaps.
  • Strong working knowledge of software development practices and release lifecycles.
