Machine Shop Technician

NOV Process and Flow Control in Montrose is seeking a dedicated Machine Shop Assistant to contribute to our workshop operations.

As an integral part of the team, you will be involved in various tasks including torque operations, phosphate coating, and material handling. Comprehensive training will be provided for this role.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Operate a 3.5 Tonne truck proficiently.
  • Execute torque operations and phosphate coating procedures accurately.
  • Maintain clear communication by reporting defects and collaborating with the Operations Manager.
  • Ensure strict adherence to Environmental, Health & Safety protocols at all times.
  • Provide support to machinists and maintain a clean and organized workshop environment.

Requirements:

  • Possess a valid Driving License (Essential).
  • Forklift License is desirable but not mandatory.

Experience:

  • Prior experience with torque machinery and phosphate coating techniques is highly valued.

Skills:

  • Demonstrate proficiency in using lifting equipment safely and effectively.
  • Possess a strong understanding of Environmental, Health & Safety practices.
