Carry out high-quality welding

As a Welder you will carry out fabrication on machined parts to a high degree of quality. You'll be able to work under your own initiative to meet the production schedule of the shop. You will have the opportunity to develop your skills whilst working on some innovative products.

As a Welder, you will be responsible for:

- TIG & MMA processes, to work within tight tolerances on various materials and spool configurations.
- Reading and understanding drawings, weld maps & weld procedures, strictly adhering to instructions and parameters at all times.
- Comply with all HSE requirements for the site and the Welding department.
- Working with materials such as Carbon Steel, Inconel Clad Carbon pipe, Inconel & Super Duplex.
- Make use of Data Loggers would be an advantage but not essential as training will be given
- Expected to pass a weld test (Carbon Clad pipe Butt weld) at our facility prior to offer of a position.

Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will:

- Have completed welding apprenticeship
- Make use of Data Loggers would be an advantage but not essential as training will be given
- Expected to pass a weld test (Carbon Clad pipe Butt weld) at our facility prior to offer of a position.
- Be able to show experience in Sub Arc welding, MIG, TIG, MMAW & FCAW processes.
- Use of Flame cutting equipment and fabrication;
- Grinding equipment, Saws and general Workshop Tooling
- Work as part of a team as well as on their own
- Be proactive to help drive improvements through the shop
- Must be flexible with shift work and overtime when required
