Are you a driven sales professional with experience in selling adaptable B2B solutions?

A renowned marketing agency based in Cambridge is seeking a consultative and experienced Business Development Manager to expand their client portfolio. This role offers the opportunity to work with a diverse range of services, from web design and video production to content marketing and print media.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Secure profitable and sustainable contracts for a variety of marketing services, including advertising, content creation, design, digital development, digital marketing, and media sales.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive database of key contacts within target sectors and markets using CRM tools.
  • Build strong relationships with prospects through proactive outreach and collaborative engagement.
  • Contribute to the creation and delivery of compelling presentations and proposals, responding to tenders, and preparing for pitches.

This role requires a blend of outbound sales efforts (approximately 50%) and collaborative pitching activities (50%). You will be expected to attend networking events, exhibitions, and client meetings, demonstrating strong interpersonal and presentation skills.

While experience in media sales or agency sales is highly valued, candidates with a proven track record of selling adaptable B2B products/services through a consultative process are also encouraged to apply.

This position offers the flexibility to work either 4 or 5 days per week. The advertised salary reflects the full-time equivalent; part-time employees will receive a pro rata salary. A hybrid work model is in place, with approximately 60% of your time dedicated to office work or client meetings.
