Position: Childcare Assessments Coordinator
Salary: up to £54,000 annually, plus a car allowance of £4,000 per year, with a potential bonus of up to £9,000.
Role Overview: This position is responsible for overseeing all Assessments Home locations. As we continue to expand, we are looking for a dedicated and meticulous Childcare Assessments Coordinator. This role will report to and support our Assessments Regional Manager, ensuring that all of Esland's Assessments homes are functioning effectively and receiving the necessary support.

Essential Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of experience managing a residential children's home with an assessment center
- Direct knowledge and experience with Ofsted inspections and a proven track record of achieving Good and/or Outstanding ratings
- Exceptional communication skills and a proactive approach to tasks
- Strong leadership capabilities
- Possession of the Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (England) or an equivalent qualification

Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting the Regional Manager with the support and supervision of Registered Managers within the designated area
- Creating and maintaining high-quality services
- Ensuring that any home with a vacancy for a Registered Manager operates smoothly and without disruption, delivering continuity of service and care. The Coordinator may need to hold Ofsted registration in the absence of a Registered Manager
- Ensuring timely recruitment and training of staff in accordance with company policy and relevant legislation
- Providing the necessary resources and environment for children to thrive
- Ensuring compliance with all Esland policies and procedures at all times
- Guaranteeing that all young people receive personalized placements tailored to their specific needs, identified through a robust assessment and matching process
- Maintaining effective records, monitoring progress, and taking appropriate actions to ensure service delivery
- Ensuring that all staff training is current and relevant for the assessment settings, collaborating closely with the Learning and Development team
- Conducting evaluations and regular supervisions with Registered Managers
- Liaising with external support agencies
- Contributing to a Regional Development Plan and individual Personal Development Plans for all managers, ensuring their implementation
- A willingness to travel is essential, as our Assessment Homes are geographically distributed across various regions.
