We are seeking experienced and dedicated individuals to join our team as Senior Activity and Intervention Support Workers. This role involves providing outstanding levels of childcare and support to our young people, enabling them to achieve amazing outcomes.

Our Assessments Home is a two-bed service providing immediate intervention and trauma-informed, therapeutic support. Over a 12-week placement, our young people are given security, support, and stabilisation in a nurturing and peaceful environment. Every placement provides PACE principle residential care, access to education, and participation in outdoor/adventure activities.

Key responsibilities:

- Provide high-quality childcare and support to our young people
- Work collaboratively with the team to deliver therapeutic interventions and activities
- Maintain accurate records and reports as required

Requirements:

- A minimum of 12 months' experience in a children's residential care home
- A Level 3 (or above) diploma in residential childcare (or be close to completion)
- A full driving licence issued in the UK
- A keen interest in outdoor and adventure activities
- Applicants must have full right to work in the UK with no restrictions
- In-depth knowledge of Ofsted regulations, expectations, and best practice
- Training and experience in de-escalation, safe restraint, and physical intervention (such as Team Teach, MAPA etc.)
- Values in line with Esland's, such as taking a therapeutic, person-centred approach to childcare
- Due to industry regulations, applicants must be aged 21 or above
