Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Hotel Contracting Specialist to join our team at Travel Trade Recruitment. As a Contract Negotiator, you will be responsible for negotiating contracts with hotels and ground handlers to secure the best rates and availability for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Negotiate contracted rates and availability with existing and new hotels in Europe, with a focus on the Nordic and Baltic region.
  • Load contracted rates and specials via our online contracting system.
  • Maintain and monitor existing relationships with hotels through frequent visits and calls to hotel sales and revenue managers.
  • Establish new partnerships with hotels that we do not currently work with.
  • Analyze statistics and growth figures to drive forward company profit and volume.
  • Coordinate with our sales, reservations, and accounts teams to ensure a smooth working relationship.
  • Achieve special promotions with individual hotels, rate amendments, overrides, and set sensible targets.

Requirements:

  • Previous contracting experience or strong negotiation skills.
  • Excellent negotiation skills.
  • Fluency in a second European language is an advantage but not essential.
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills.
  • Good geographical knowledge of Europe.
  • Attention to detail is a must.
