Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and skilled School Premises Officer to join our team on a long-term contract basis. The successful candidate will support the current team with general maintenance and repairs in and around the school facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with general maintenance and repairs, ensuring the school site is safe and secure.
  • Prepare areas within the school for events, including furniture setup and arrangement.
  • Collaborate with the premises manager and cleaning staff to ensure the school site is opened and closed at designated times.
  • Support the supervision of the site and security of the buildings.
  • Liaise with external contractors as required to maintain the school facilities.
Requirements:
  • Physical fitness and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working in building maintenance or a related field.
  • Previous experience in schools, colleges, or educational settings is preferred.
  • Dedicated and professional approach.
  • Enhanced DBS clearance or willingness to undergo the process.
