Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced School Premises Officer to join our team on a long-term contract basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing general maintenance and support to our school premises.

Key Responsibilities:
  • General Maintenance: Assist with routine maintenance tasks, including repairs and upkeep of school facilities.
  • Event Preparation: Prepare areas within the school for events, including setting up furniture and equipment.
  • Site Supervision: Ensure the school site is secure and well-maintained, including supervising the site and security of the buildings.
  • Liaison: Liaise with the premises manager, cleaning staff, and external contractors as required.
Requirements:
  • Physical Fitness: Must be physically fit and able to perform manual tasks.
  • Experience: Previous experience in building maintenance is essential, with a preference for experience in schools, colleges, or educational settings.
  • Professional Approach: Must have a dedicated and professional approach to work.
  • DBS: Must hold an Enhanced DBS or be prepared to have one processed.
