School Premises Officer/Cleaner

We are seeking a reliable and physically fit individual to join our team as a School Premises Officer/Cleaner. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our school facilities, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our students and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support with general maintenance and repairs in and around the school facilities
  • Prepare areas within the school for events, including furniture setup and cleaning
  • Conduct weekly fire alarm tests and record results in a spreadsheet
  • Assist with health and safety initiatives and maintain a safe working environment

Requirements:

  • Physical fitness and ability to lift heavy objects
  • Experience working in building maintenance or a related field
  • Dedicated and professional approach
  • Enhanced DBS clearance or willingness to undergo the process
