We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated School Premises Officer to join our team at Philosophy Education on a long-term contract basis. This role will involve supporting the current team with general maintenance for a nursery school in Southwark.

In this position, you will work closely with the premises manager and the premises team to ensure the smooth operation of the school facilities. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing general maintenance and repairs in and around the school facilities
  • Preparing areas within the school for events, including furniture setup and arrangement
  • Supporting the supervision of the site and security of the buildings
  • Liaising with the premises manager, cleaning staff, and external contractors as required

To be successful in this role, you must be physically fit and have experience working in building maintenance. You will also need to have a dedicated and professional approach and hold an Enhanced DBS or be prepared to have one processed.
