New Homes Sales Manager

Persimmon Homes is a leading UK house builder serving local communities across the UK and delivering around 10,000 homes a year. We have 29 operating businesses in England, Wales and Scotland, three house-building brands and three off-site manufacturing facilities.
We're looking for a skilled Sales Manager to join our Sales Team. This role typically reports to the Sales Director.
The purpose of the role is to manage the Sales teams to maximise opportunities to deliver monetary and volume targets through negotiation and selling of plots in accordance with the Persimmon Pledge.
The role will include:
- Manage the team effectively, including setting clear objectives, conducting professional development reviews, coaching and training to ensure employees achieve both their full potential and company targets.
- Oversee and support all communication and administration associated with sales transactions, including liaising with Solicitors, Estate Agents and Financial Institutions to ensure required documentation is provided and the home sale is audit compliant.
- Monitor and maintain the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to assess the progress of the Sales advisor team to ensure monetary and volume targets are met.
- Manage customer sales complaints to achieve resolution in accordance with customer experience standards.
- Work cohesively with other departments across the Operating Company such as Construction, Commercial and Legal to ensure achievement of completion targets and timely updates relating to plot progress.
- Advocate the Group Health, Safety and Environment Policy while ensuring compliance throughout the team to ensure health and safety standards are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the Sales Team to achieve sales targets and objectives.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to drive business growth.
- Manage customer relationships and resolve sales complaints.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth sales transactions.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
Requirements:
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Fully conversant with Microsoft Package, including Excel and Word.
- Previous experience in a new homes sales management role is essential.
- Full UK Driving Licence is required.
