Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Paramedic to join our Primary Care team at a category C Prison, providing high-quality emergency care and minor injury treatment to patients in a challenging yet rewarding environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver emergency care and minor injury treatment to patients in a prison setting, performing procedures such as suturing, IV access, hemorrhage control, wound care, and cardiac & CVA intervention.
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, working as part of a team of primary care nurses, and delivering care to patients within the healthcare centre and on the Wings/blocks.
  • Develop and apply new skills to maintain and enhance clinical service delivery.

Requirements
  • A qualified paramedic with current HCPC registration.
  • Proven post-registration experience in Accident & Emergency, Primary Care environments, or Minor Injuries/Illness Units.
  • Ability to demonstrate initiative and work in a challenging environment.
