Key Responsibilities

As an Emergency Medical Technician, your duties will include:

  • Delivering high-quality emergency medical care and treatment for minor injuries to individuals with both primary and acute healthcare needs in a secure environment, including performing procedures such as suturing, IV access, hemorrhage control, wound management, and cardiac interventions.
  • Actively participating in the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care, collaborating with a team of healthcare professionals to provide care both within the medical facility and throughout the residential areas.
  • Continuously developing and applying new skills to enhance clinical service delivery.

Qualifications

  • You must be a qualified Emergency Medical Technician with current registration.
  • Demonstrated initiative and proven experience in relevant clinical settings such as Accident & Emergency, Primary Care, or Minor Injury Units are essential.

While not mandatory, experience in a hospital, community, or secure environment is preferred.
