About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Practice Plus Group. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the delivery of our healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide medicines management services to assist in tackling identified inequalities within the prison population, contributing to diagnosis of care and treatment needs.
  • Assist with the implementation and development of pharmacy support to all wings in the prison, including counselling of patients on the correct use of medication.
  • Dispense medicines to agreed standards, calculating doses and quantities for supply where there is a specific requirement for accuracy.
Requirements
  • NVQ Level 3, BTEC, or equivalent qualifications and current registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPHC).
  • Relevant post-qualification experience working within a pharmacy environment and multi-disciplinary team.
  • Ability to work unsupervised while following policy and procedures.
