Business Development Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team at Optionis. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for generating profitable, long-term business through our client base of recruitment agencies and end clients.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement a general strategy across all managed accounts to drive sales activity and growth.
- Work closely with internal teams to service and grow our agencies/clients, operating from consultant to senior level.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, developing those sourced by the sales team.
- Conduct field-based activities to sustain and grow accounts, including working outside of office hours to organize and attend networking events.
- Meet and exceed activity levels, including face-to-face meetings, video calls, telephone, and email activity.
- Previous experience in an account management and business development role, ideally field-based.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Effective time management to ensure all duties are executed in a timely manner.
- Demonstrated ability to create and execute account plans.
- Strong commercial awareness and ability to negotiate with our agency partners.
- Experience of presenting at different levels (including senior) to customers.
