Position Overview:
This position is integral to a comprehensive Managed Service team dedicated to providing support and testing for a prominent UK government department utilizing Oracle Cloud HCM and ERP solutions.

Essential Qualifications:
A foundational background in Computer Science is essential, particularly with proficiency in Programming Languages such as Java, JavaScript, C#, Python, or similar.

Training and Development:
Upon commencement, the selected candidate will undergo structured training focused on Automation development software and tools specific to Oracle Cloud Applications. This training aims to cultivate skilled Oracle functional professionals.

The training curriculum encompasses:

  • Automation development tools and software
  • Principles of Manual Testing
  • Insights into various components of the HCM and ERP solutions, including Finance, HR, Payroll, and Talent/Recruitment

This program serves as an excellent entry point into the Oracle Cloud market, where the skills acquired are highly valued and sought after.

Main Responsibilities:
- Develop and sustain the automation framework.
- Create and maintain both new and existing test automation scripts.
- Acquire in-depth knowledge and expertise in the business processes that inform the testing scripts.
- Assist the Test Lead/Manager in delivering quality services efficiently and effectively according to business needs.
- Provide impactful automation solutions to enhance the overall efficiency of Testing as a Service.

Requirements:
Security Clearance is necessary for this role. While it is not required at the time of application, candidates must be willing to undergo the security clearance process, which includes being a UK citizen with a minimum of 10 years of residency in the UK.

It is advisable to review the eligibility criteria for security vetting prior to applying.

Educational Background:
A degree in Computer Science or a related field is mandatory, with a specific emphasis on Programming Languages such as Java, JavaScript, C#, Python, or similar.
