The Role: Trustee

The duties of a trustee are multifaceted and critical to the success of our organization. Key responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring the organization pursues its stated objects by developing and agreeing a long-term strategy
  • Ensuring compliance with governing documents, charity law, company law, and other relevant legislation or regulations
  • Ensuring the organization applies its resources exclusively in pursuance of its charitable objects
  • Defining goals and evaluating performance against agreed targets

  • Ensuring the effective and efficient administration of the organization
  • Protecting and managing the property of the charity and ensuring the proper investment of the charity's funds
