About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Professional Trustee to join our client's growing team in London.

This is a unique opportunity for a talented mid-career individual looking to move into independent professional pension trusteeship.

As a Professional Trustee, you will work as part of a highly collaborative and friendly team, receiving full support in your development as a trustee.

Initially, you will work with smaller to mid-sized clients, with career progression to full trustee director expected to take three to six years depending on individual circumstances.

Our client specialises in providing appointable trustees with the right expertise and experience to successfully run pension schemes for some of the UK's largest employers.

The team is made up of former investment professionals, actuaries, lawyers, accountants, pension managers, and corporate financiers, who combine to share knowledge and deliver better outcomes.

We are looking for an individual with at least 10 years in a pension and/or investment-related role, with strong interpersonal skills and commercial experience.

Key responsibilities will include developing new relationships and winning the trust of sponsors and trustee boards.

This is a fast-growing area of the industry, with 20% revenue growth for the last 3 years and a continued rise in the number of trustee appointments.

The marketplace is evolving, with new professional trustee qualifications/accreditations, different services and offerings, and a gradual change in the workforce.
