Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate individual to join our Clinical Contact Centre Team as a 999 Call Handler. This role is a critical link in the chain of life, requiring the ability to input details accurately and efficiently onto a computer system.

As a 999 Call Handler, you will be responsible for liaising with members of the public, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders. Excellent communication and customer care skills are essential for this role.

The successful candidate will work an alternating shift pattern, including out-of-hours, bank holidays, and weekend duties. While the ability to speak Welsh is desirable, Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.

Main Duties of the Job

Key responsibilities include:

  • Liaising with members of the public and healthcare professionals
  • Inputting details accurately and efficiently onto a computer system
  • Working an alternating shift pattern, including out-of-hours, bank holidays, and weekend duties
