About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity to join the team at Springfields Fuels Ltd as a Work Week Coordinator. As a key member of the Projects, Services and Decommissioning team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the effective scheduling and execution of planned preventative maintenance and improvement works.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement the annual maintenance cycle, including shutdowns, to drive improvements in plant and equipment safety, reliability, and product quality.
- Coordinate all planned and improvement work to meet deliverables for allocated work packages.
- Schedule work to ensure safe and reliable operation of the plant and maintain compliance with agreed safety and environmental standards.
- Place orders for packages of work and day-to-day maintenance activities.
- Liaise with contractors and service engineers to ensure they are planned and booked for their relevant tasks.
- Develop the plan for allocated work packages in accordance with the work management process.
- Chair relevant Work Management meetings and issue packages of work to engineering and operational supervisors.
- Work with maintenance supervisors to deliver plans to a high standard.
- Monitor schedule performance to assess prescribed metrics.
- Incorporate lessons learned into future schedules and strive for continuous improvement.
Requirements:
- A knowledge of the Springfields Work Management Process or willingness to develop these skills.
- A knowledge and understanding of the Sites maintenance and engineering practices or willingness to develop these skills.
- Experience in safely planning or executing work packages associated with engineering, maintenance, and project work.
- Experience with Excel and planning software packages or willingness to develop these skills.
- Ability to use site IT Systems effectively.
- Background in engineering and/or maintenance with an understanding of engineering fundamentals.
- Ability to lead meetings.
- Able to build good relationships with other supervisors, departments, customers, and suppliers.
- Must be self-motivated, with very strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Desirable Skills:
- An engineering qualification would be an advantage.
- Experience of using purchasing systems (SAP, ARIBA).
- Demonstrate a willingness for self-development and an enthusiasm for the role.
- High personal standards and expectations in their approach to work.
- Enthusiastic and flexible in their approach to work.
- Ability to work in an operational plant.
- Assist in the training and development of new standards.
