About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Complex Needs Navigator. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating and leading a solution-based approach to engage Service Users in appropriate services, moving them away from street-based living.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and establish contact with rough sleepers and beggars, rapidly assisting Service Users through street outreach shifts at various times and locations.
  • Carry a caseload of complex clients, developing personalized action plans to discourage rough sleeping.
  • Participate in multi-agency initiatives to reduce street activity.
  • Work closely with drug and alcohol teams to ensure substance misusers and problem drinkers access treatment.
  • Ensure Service Users have access to ongoing healthcare.
  • Participate in statistical analysis of rough sleepers and street counts as required.

About You:

We are looking for an individual with experience in one or more of the following fields: substance misuse, alcohol misuse, mental health. You should also have experience working with people who have multiple and complex needs.

Essential Skills:

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and advocacy skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with a wide range of services.
  • Good levels of IT literacy, including MS Office applications.
  • Critical reflection and evaluation skills.

What We Offer:

We offer a competitive salary, 25 days holiday (rising by 1 day per year, capped at 30 days), paid wellness hour, contributory pension scheme, and a range of benefits including discounts and training opportunities.

Please note: This role is not eligible for a Health and Care Worker visa. You may be eligible for sponsorship under the Skilled Worker route, but must meet the minimum salary requirements.
