About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Scientific Director to join our Medical Education team at Health Unlimited. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional medical content and editorial services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Editorial Excellence
    • Develop and implement editorial strategies to ensure high-quality written content across various projects
    • Provide expert guidance on written material, including strategic insights and clarity of project outcomes
    • Review and sign off written work from other team members
  • Strategic and Scientific Leadership
    • Collaborate with clients to understand their scientific strategy and provide expert counsel
    • Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of clients' therapeutic areas and scientific content
    • Lead the development of new business proposals and pitches
  • Leadership and Team Responsibilities
    • Mentor and line-manage team members to develop their writing and editorial skills
    • Ensure high scientific standards and clinical accuracy across projects and teams
    • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance team efficiency and quality
  • New Business Development
    • Develop and lead new business proposals and pitches
    • Identify opportunities for organic growth with existing clients
Requirements
  • Editorial Proficiency
    • Proven track record of delivering high-quality written content across various projects
    • Excellent writing and editing skills, with the ability to adapt to different audiences and styles
    • Strong understanding of clinical medicine and scientific content
  • Strategic and Scientific Leadership
    • Deep understanding of clients' scientific strategy and therapeutic areas
    • Ability to provide expert counsel and guidance to clients and team members
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Leadership and Team Responsibilities
    • Proven leadership and mentoring skills, with the ability to develop and coach team members
    • Strong organizational and time management skills

    • Proven track record of developing and leading new business proposals and pitches
