Job Overview

As a key member of the Langland team, you will play a critical role in driving scientific excellence and commercial success. This leadership position requires a unique blend of scientific expertise, business acumen, and creative vision.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and lead a best-in-class scientific capability for the advertising team, driving innovation and excellence in medical communications.
  • Collaborate with Creative Directors to provide strategic scientific guidance and content creation expertise.
  • Foster cross-functional collaboration among scientific, creative, digital, and strategic teams to deliver cohesive client solutions.
  • Develop and communicate compelling scientific narratives that inform award-winning creative campaigns.
  • Provide critical review of creative materials and lead scientific pitch research and presentation.
  • Offer strategic counsel to clients, navigating medical review and brand/account planning.
  • Maintain high-profile visibility as a scientific and creative expert across multiple therapy areas.
  • Lead the development of therapy area and/or brand scientific strategy in collaboration with the Scientific Strategy Team.
  • Initiate and lead internal/external workshops to solve complex scientific problems and drive strategic alignment.

Qualifications

You are a seasoned scientific and creative leader with a strong track record in medical communications and advertising. You possess the ability to leverage scientific knowledge into creative execution, drive innovation, and master knowledge of therapeutic areas. You can confidently produce strategically aligned scientific narratives, lead a team to deliver the same, and support the creative team to leverage scientific insights into award-winning creative.
